There is a free networking event for new and prospective members coming up on Wednesday, May 3, at PR Newswire.  Our host and guest speaker for this event will be Cyndi Baumgartner, regional director at PR Newswire.  The topic of the evening will be “New Ways to Reach Your Audience” - using RRS Feeds, Social Bookmarking, Search Engine Optimization and Blogs to impact your business.  Nadine Sudnick, IABC/Chicago president-elect, will be on hand to provide an overview of the chapter and benefits of membership.  And there’ll be plenty of time to meet and talk with other Chicago-area communicators.

How to get there

Take the Brown, Red or Orange line to the State/Lake stop.  Or take the Blue line to the Clark/Lake stop.

Metra and South Shore trains stop at Randolph/South Water Street.  It is the last stop for both lines and there is a passageway leading directly to the Illinois Center from the station.

If you are driving, there is a self-park garage at the building.
