About your presenter:
Maria Gemskie is Managing Director of Communications for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).  Her responsibilities include oversight of public relations and public affairs activities for the exchange. She also facilitates communication with exchange shareholders and the general public.

Gemskie has worked for the CBOT Communications Department for six years and previously served as an Assistant Manager.  Her prior experience includes serving the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C. from 1996 to 1999 as Communications Director for former U.S. Congressman Thomas Ewing.

Gemskie holds a B.S. in Public Affairs from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
