Are Professional Services Firm Marketers confusing creation of thought leadership with results? What are the hidden traps of focusing on unconnected thought leadership? What happens as a result of failing to link ideas to business case scenarios? Dave Heinke Grant Thornton LLP Midwest Region Director of Sales and Marketing will discuss some suggested action steps for marketers on how to get bang out their thought leadership buck. He will talk about linking white papers and thought leadership to ROI focused mailers, seminars, appointments, proposals, and sales.
About your presenter:
David Heinke, Midwest Region Director of Marketing & Sales, Grant Thornton
Dave joined Grant Thornton in 1997 as an inside sales manager and was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing in 1999. In that role, Dave was responsible for managing the direct marketing, inside sales, and direct sales of Grant Thornton's Chicago office where he helped increase sales revenues more than 30% annually through 2005. He served in that role until 2005 when he was promoted to his current position of Midwest Region Director of Marketing and Sales.
In his career, Mr. Heinke has managed various b2b and b2c call center and sales operations. His expertise is in developing and managing inside sales forces, creating results oriented direct marketing campaigns, and generating revenue for professional services and financial services firms. From 1992-97, he was Director of Sales for Taxpayer Assistance Corp., a tax consulting firm in Chicago. For 13 years, Heinke was a floor broker and a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Before that, he was a high school English teacher and coach in Lincoln, Nebraska.
